New Installment! – Diablo 3

There would be an another installment of Diablo PC Game! it was announced on June 28, 2008, at the 2008 Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational in Paris, France. A gorgeous 3D rendered Diablo Installment brings you a new twist of gaming without changing its original gameplay. Players, Maps, and Enemies will utilize a fully 3D environment, and also Enemies in ways will be crawling up the side of a wall from the depths into the combat area.

An enhanced quest system, a random level generator, and a random encounter generator are slated for use in order to ensure the game provides different experiences when replayed. Overall, the game will include both static and randomly generated levels. Additionally, there will be class-specific quests to go along with the main storyline quests. They were originally planning to have in-game cutscenes, but decided it would divert from the gameplay and have decided against this idea. Two new armor pieces will be available: the shoulder plate, and the leggings.

Like the previous installments, Diablo 3 is also possible for multiplayer games. Players will be able to drop in and out of sessions of co-operative play with others – PVP!

The following are the new changes and features from the previous gameplay.

1. Gold can be picked up merely by touching it, rather than having to manually pick it up.
2. Distinct NPCs who join the player, rather than randomly-generated and endlessly replaceable hires.
3. To somehow speed up the game, there will be a Health orbs that drop from enemies, replacing the need to have a potion bar, which itself is replaced by a skill bar that allows a player to assign quick bar buttons to skills and spells.
4. Skill Runes, another new feature, are skill-modifying items that are randomly dropped by monsters and used across all classes. Similar to runes in Diablo II but instead of changing equipable items, they can be attached to each skill like an item, often completely changing the gameplay of each skill.
5. They also have the ability to make one particular spell in each class more powerful, and give the player options as to how the rune will enhance a particular spell.
6. New NPCs. Decard Cain is one of the confirmed old NPC.

There are 4 of 5 classes to choose from that is revealed as of August 2009.

Barbarian

The same old class from the previous installments of Diablo is still playable from the game. The skills are still the same but there would be new skills that is unrevealed today.

Witch Doctor

The Witch Doctor is a new class in Diablo 3, and is a spellcaster with mind control spells such as summons and curses. Witch Doctor have similar abilities as the Necromancer class from Diablo 2. Also have variety of elemental direct damage spell attacks. The Witch Doctor is a poor melee fighter and is rather vulnerable compared with other classes.

Wizard

The Wizard can manipulate primal forces of the universe to vanquish foes and the spells includes Frost Nova, Tornado and Blizzard attacks as we know from Diablo 2.

There are a mixture of attack and passive spells in all trees and damage types vary.

Wizard has masteries that increase casting speed, all types of damage, critical hits in types of damage, provide physical and magial armor. boost weapon damage, etc. huge variety.

Monk

The features of Monk Class is still unrevealed but this class is described as,

…a skilled holy warrior of unparalleled dexterity. Armed with speed, holy fervor, and the drive to achieve physical and spiritual perfection, the monk becomes a deadly apparition in the heat of battle, moving faster than the eye can follow to strike down enemies with a barrage of lightning-fast blows.

The 5th class is still not confirmed, but some rumors said that it is predicted to be such Class: Archer, Ranger, Bowman or Amazon. Stay tuned for more update regards which next class is going to be, it is most likely going to be revealed on Blizzard Conference in 2010.

Diablo 3 Installment is still unconfirmed of when it would be released but some rumors again, that it will released either this year of 2010 or in 2011.
